FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
Cost & model
Is TRUESYNC TV really free?
Yes — free for every business. It's ad-supported, like network television: national advertisers fund the platform, so you get the entertainment, branding tools, and device at no cost.
What's the catch?
There isn't one — the model is the same one that's funded TV for seventy years. Advertisers pay for moments of airtime; you get everything else. And those ads never include your competitors.
What does TRUESYNC MUSIC cost?
TRUESYNC MUSIC is a premium add-on, priced for your venue and rooms. Talk to us for a quote — a rep responds within one business day.
Can my screens earn money?
Qualifying locations can share in the revenue their screens create. Every location is different — ask us what yours could be worth.
On screen
What plays on TRUESYNC TV?
A mix you control: fully licensed HD entertainment from partners like Red Bull, GoPro, and AirVuz across 54 toggleable categories, plus your own promos, menus, and messaging — with national ad breaks woven in.
Whose logo appears on my screens?
Yours. Your logo bug sits in the corner, your messaging plays between content, and outside of ad breaks the people in your space never see our name.
Will my competitors' ads show on my screens?
Never. We don't air competitive advertising — a bar never sees another bar's ad, a dental office never sees another practice's. Other ad categories can be blocked on request.
Can I block content I don't want?
Yes — all 54 content categories toggle per venue, and brand-sensitive categories (alcohol, suggestive, fails) are opt-in, never defaults.
Is the content licensed for businesses?
Fully — every minute on screen is licensed for commercial spaces, so your venue is covered.
Setup & hardware
What hardware do I need?
A TV with an HDMI port and an internet connection. We ship a pre-programmed device — already set up with your Wi-Fi and your logo — and you plug it in.
How long does setup take?
Minutes to plug in, and your logo is already on screen. Most locations pick their content categories and build a first promo in under an hour.
Will my screens keep playing if the internet drops?
Yes — content is stored right on the device, so screens keep playing through internet blips and catch up when the connection returns.
Multi-location
Can I manage multiple locations from one account?
Yes — the Venue Portal is built for it: every location in one account, with role-based access for corporate and local managers.
Can corporate manage content for every location?
Yes — build content and promos once and apply them to every venue, while local managers get access to just their own locations.
Menus & signage
Can I show my menu on a screen?
Yes — if you manage your menu on Untappd or another online menu platform, we put it on your screen and it stays current as you update it. Menu screens are included for TRUESYNC TV venues.
See menu screens →Do you offer digital signage?
Yes — free at locations running TRUESYNC TV. Split a screen into up to four zones, run it in landscape or portrait, and schedule content by day and time from the same portal.

How is TRUESYNC TV different from Atmosphere TV?
Both are free and ad-supported. TRUESYNC white-labels every screen to your brand, never airs your competitors' ads, plays licensed HD content made for TV, and includes venue messaging and menu screens, with licensed music as an add-on.

If you want your screens to carry your own brand — your logo, your promos, never a competitor's ad — TRUESYNC TV is built for exactly that, and it's free for every business.
Music & licensing
Can I legally play Spotify in my business?
Personal streaming apps are licensed for personal listening; businesses need a commercial license. TRUESYNC MUSIC includes the commercial-use license, so your venue sounds great and stays covered.
Do I need a music license for my restaurant?
If music plays in your space, yes — PRO licensing applies. TRUESYNC MUSIC bundles licensing in, with hand-curated playlists and per-room control.
